Removing The Side Covers 

Step 1: Remove the pedals from the right and left crank (Reminder: Left pedals will be reverse threaded)

Step 2: Remove the screws along the outer edge of your side covers on the left and right side to remove the side covers.

Step 3: Remove the crank plugs from the side covers

Step 4: Remove the side covers (Note: you may need to turn the crank arm to be able to move the cover around it.)
