SF-B1851: How to Remove and Install the Covers

STEP 1: Remove the left pedal (14L) and the right pedal (14R) from the unit using a spanner tool or a wrench.

(NOTE: Please do keep in mind that the left pedal is reverse threaded.)

STEP 2: Remove the three screws (Part 62) from the Right Belt Cover (Part 24) and the screw on the Front Cover (Part 25).

STEP 3: Remove the 5 screws (Part 61) from the Left Belt Cover (Part 23).

STEP 4: Place the right crank (Part 15R) at a 45° angle and guide the covers through the crank arm and around the pedals to remove.

STEP 5: Place the left crank (Part 14L) at a 45° angle and twist on the Crank Cover (Part 26) to guide the covers through the crank arm and around the pedals to remove.

STEP 6: To install keep the pedals at a 45° angle and guide the covers back to their original spots and screw the covers with the screws you originally removed.
