Recumbent Bike Sensor Wire Replacement

How to replace the sensor wire on a recumbent bike. 

 

Here is a quick guide instructing you on how to replace the sensor wire from a recumbent bike. 

 

STEP 1: After the covers have been removed, locate the sensor on the mainframe.

STEP 2: Remove the old sensor wire by pulling it out towards you using two fingers.

STEP 3: Pass the sensor wire through the mainframe.

STEP 4: Cut the zip tie of the mainframe, freeing the sensor wire.

STEP 5: Tape the sensor end of the old sensor wire to the jack end of the new sensor in order to run it through the mainframe.

STEP 6: Feed the sensor wire through the mainframe in an upward direction while pulling the wire over the top part of the mainframe.

STEP 7: Once you have passed the jack end of the new sensor wire. Take the sensor end and install it on its holder on the mainframe next to the belt wheel.

STEP 8: Use a zip tie to secure the sensor wire onto the mainframe.
