SF-T7971 How to Replace the Left Handle Covers

How to replace the left side handle covers on the treadmill.

Here is a quick guide instructing you on the proper procedure to successfully replace the handle covers on the left side rail.

STEP 1: Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws holding the handle cover.

STEP 2: Remove the bottom cover.

STEP 3: Unplug the signal connector.

(If not replacing the Safety Key Plug, please skip steps 4, 5, and 10)

STEP 4: Using a Phillips screwdriver remove the screw.

STEP 5: Carefully unplug the wires from the base and install the new one. 

STEP 6: Plug the connector into the new handlebar control. 

STEP 7: Install the handle control to the tube.

STEP 8: Once it is in place, make sure that no wire is pinched between the tube and handle. Also, move the safety key base to the center.

STEP 9: Place the bottom cover and secure it with the screws using the Phillips screwdriver.

STEP 10: Secure the safety key base.
