How to lubricate the post on the treadmill

Here is a quick guide instructing you on the proper procedure to successfully lubricate the handlebar post. 

STEP 1: Fold the unit.

STEP 2: Remove the two screws holding the motor cover and then remove the cover.

STEP 3: Pull the RED handle to check its functionality. Check for rust or dust on the pivot points, clean, and lubricate as needed.

STEP 4: Carefully pull out the post cover. It is secured to the post with double-sided tape.

Carefully pull the cover to access the bolt that holds the post.

Loosen the bolt with a #6 Allen Key just enough to be able to access between the post and the mainframe. Clean and lubricate as necessary. Repeat this process on the other side of the unit.

STEP 5: After cleaning and lubricating both posts, tighten the bolts and place the covers back on.
